William Evertz Jr. is only 5 years old, but he already knows how important job police officers have. He wanted to thank them for their service and he did it in the most heartwarming way.
Little boy was saving up his little allowance money for over seven months to make his plan work. Once he collected enough, he treated the local police officers to a nice lunch so they did not have to worry about their meal for a day.
“William Evertz Jr. wanted to do random acts of kindness. One of his acts was to deliver lunch to the police officers in his community who keep him safe,” the Winslow Township Police Department wrote on their Facebook page.
However, lunch for the officers is not the only thing little William wants to do. He has some pretty big plans for such a little boy. He has already planned to donate clothes, school supplies, and toys to domestic violence shelters and food and supplies to local animal shelters.
We need more people like him in this world!
