Adrianne Haslet-Davis was one of many people whose lives changed on April 15, 2013 when bombs went off at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. She lost part of her left leg, which would be devastating enough for anyone, but it nearly cost Adrianne her career. She was a ballroom dance instructor and relied on her swift, graceful movements for a living. She nearly gave up on her dreams forever, but then, the amputee community convinced her to keep dancing not only for herself, but for everyone who needed inspiration after losing a limb. On April 28, 2015, Adrianne showed the whole world the power of dance in a performance that’s impossible to forget.
