Sleep is important, and very enjoyable. It's one of the best things in life. Does it escape you? There are a myriad of reasons and a myriad of solutions. Remember, you need that REM sleep - 7-8 hours. Besides being enjoyable, it is productive, as it is the time when your body rebuilds muscle tissues and your brain receives much needed protein.
