Hi PAM group! I grew up in Saint John, New Brunswick. I am now living in Chilliwack, BC, but my heart will always be at home. The Maritimes have so much to offer! I enjoy the places I visit every time I get home. But most of all my family and friends!

I'm embracing the down home feel of the Maritime Provinces. I've spent many happy hours dreaming of being somewhere else to finally arrive at the conclusion that everything that I've ever wanted can be had right here. Here.... where we can only swim in the ocean on far to few days of the year (without a wetsuit). I started watching the surfers paddling out to the waves on any given day in the year and I was inspired. I even went down to the river in May one year and jumped in. Not sure what the water temperature was but not as cold as the water on January 1st each year when people gather around the province to do the Polar Bear Swim.
Although the question is still heard, "Why would anyone want to do that." I think its simply to feel alive. What do you think?
