Announcements

Ok, so I'm winging it with this group. I will say this, there are a few books out there that I haven't read! So, I guess I will play it by ear and see how it goes. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask them. Remember this is a give and take and give back again group!

Post your wish list and offered books in the discussion forums please. This will keep it easier for every one to find books for them and you!

If you want to discuss specific books, start a discussion group about it. If there is enough interest, then maybe a full group could be made for it.

Look around and see what you can come up with! As always, enjoy your self!

I am a member of paperbackswap.com. There you exchange books with other members, all you pay is the price of mailing. How it work is, if I see a book I want from someone I request it(no cost to me). If someone wants a book that I have listed, then I pay the postage. If you use media mail at the post office it is cheaper. A great way to recycle books( I am a strong believer in reduce, reuse and recycle, novice envirnomentalist).

Agree,what a great idea for a group.

Love reading positive material,
reading Zig Ziglar Autobiography @ moment, bit slow at start, but its getting real good.
My favourite is Bob Proctor's, you were born Rich.

We go to the local library to get the books we want there, its free and most of the self help/ personal development isles are full of great books.
recently we did a road trip, we listened to the audio of Andy Andrews, the travelers gift. totally recomend it

So happy this group has started! We can exchange here, but I also have to put a shout out about Bookcrossing.com You basically register a book you want to share, get an ID number for your book which you enter into the book cover with the bookcrossing.com address. Then you just leave the book somewhere- a bench, a cafe, a school. Any kind of book is good. When someone picks it up and registers it from the info you wrote inside you get notified and you connect with other people who read your book, purely by a random act of kindness...

Thanks Dan, I didn't know that. That does limit the discussions a little, but if that's the case I'd say post all you want out here!

Awesome Laren, great group! When I get back to the US I'll jump in with some book offerings :)

Just fyi, in the "discussions", it'll display the last 10 comments, but on the "wall" you can click to see older posts, just a heads up.

Thanks again Laren, this is a great group! I'll feature it right now :)
